The Art of Power Pitching

Power Pitching Coach

Jeremy Reidy has been teaching youth baseball players how to improve their pitching mechanics and defensive skills for more than nine years. Aiming to bring power mechanics to the forefront of baseball through a wide array of time-tested drills and positive feedback to all of his students, Reidy founded the Freedom Mechanics teaching technique for youth pitchers in July of 2001. "Great mechanics will give you the confidence to go deep in the count and throw your 3rd pitch, 3-2 and two outs...bases loaded. I put the odds in your favor."

Good mechanics is what allows a pitcher to have faith enough to throw his third best pitch in a full count. Freedom Mechanics is engineered to sway the odds into the pitcher's favor.

"Proper thowing mechanics are the foundation for any pitcher to be made. Without them, you not only throw more balls than strikes, you are missing out on a lot of power and consistency. Ever wonder why smaller guys can throw just as hard as the big guys? I am going to show you how to dominate at any height or weight."

Proper throwing mechanics provide the basis upon which athletes are transformed into successful pitchers. Without solid mechanics, players struggle with their control, increase the likelihood of injury, and never maximize their velocity.

"A young athlete with shotty mechanics will struggle every time he is put on the mound. There is no question about it. If he doesn't know what he is doing while pitching, his success will be limited."

A young athlete with poor mechanics is likely to always struggle with control. He will never quite understand why, and no matter how many bull-pens he throws he will remain unable to hit the glove consistently, or may have to sacrafice speed to do so.

"Let me show you how to maximize velocity and have the freedom to locate the ball with consistency."

With good mechanics, pitchers maximize their velocity and have the freedom to locate the ball with consistency.
