Freedom Mechanics Picture Perfect
Mechanics Will Improve Your Entire Game!
On the pitcher's mound or throwing across the diamond. Mechanics are all the same.
Outside of a few seasoned athletes, who have had proper coaching and training, most students are unaware of their own mechanical flaws. Of course, this is not their fault.
When kids are left alone to learn by trial and error, they resort to doing just about anything to get the ball across the plate.
They may do a few things correctly, but along the way they pick up bad habits, and herein lies the problem. As the saying goes, bad habits are hard to break.
Struggling pitchers constantly change the way they pitch. Their mechanics may change game to game or even worse, inning by inning. This does not build confidence, nor does it allow a pitcher to perform at his highest potential level.
It doesn't matter what pitch you are throwing, what batter is at the plate or what count you are in, your mechanics must be the same! If you become predictable or you are easy to read, your time on the mound will be short.
It is important to stress that doing things the way they were meant to be done, goes a long way. The same can be said for academics and just about everything else we do in life.
