Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What makes your DVD(s) different?

A. The perspective from which I deliver the information is totally different. I first lay everything out to the viewer so he or she will know what to expect. This makes learning pitching mechanics fun. The actual 9-drill system is also different than anything that is currently on the market.

Q. What age should kids start learning proper throwing mechanics?

A. That is a difficult question. I would say as soon as your child makes a decision to begin playing baseball in an organized league. At that age, you can begin showing them a few things which are very basic, but go a long way. This is especially true when it comes to injury prevention. At the age of 8, most kids that I have personally worked with can start to retain certain learned information. The use of repetition in the drills will also go a long way when developing muscle memory and fine motor skills.

Q. How do you throw the ball harder, or how do you add velocity?

A. The easiest question! The short answer would be through beginning to mastering the basic mechanics of the throwing motion, coordinating balance with motion, and knowing how to extract all of the power which lies hidden within your body.

Q. When should I start these drills relative to the traditional Little League season?

A. Because this is a fairly difficult motion and kids do at times have bad habits to break, the ideal time to start is in right after their season, in the off-season or pre-season. If you concerned that they current way your child is throwing, than I would recommend starting as soon as possible.

Q. How long does this "system" take to see sustainable results?

A. A total of 6 hours! In order to see comparable before and after results you need to make it through all 9 drills. And, if you really know the drills, it should take you a minimum of 6 hours of time invested into this to see the results you are looking to achieve. Break it down into six, one-hour sessions and you'll have more than enough time to complete the system. I also encourage the kids to do the drills at home. It takes minutes to go throw a few drills in between studying, chores and entertainment.
